This is something I want buyers to understand.

The negotiation isn't always about getting the seller to drop the price.

There are other ways to structure a deal.

One of them is an interest rate buydown.

And when we write your offer, we can ask the seller for a concession to help pay for it.

Depending on your loan and purchase price, a rate buydown could potentially save you thousands of dollars.

That's real money.

And it's why strategy matters.

What concessions might be possible?
Could a rate buydown make sense?
