That was the case when I previewed a property yesterday in San Juan Capistrano, located on a great street just off Del Obispo.

It wasn’t the right fit for my clients, but the neighborhood and outdoor space were hard to ignore.

Why Location and Setting Matter

This home offered something buyers consistently look for but don’t always find:

  • A large, usable yard

  • A pool and spa

  • Mature eucalyptus trees that create privacy and atmosphere

  • A quiet, established street with a strong neighborhood feel

These features tend to resonate with buyers who value lifestyle just as much as square footage.

Not the Right Fit — Still Worth Knowing About

Part of my job is previewing homes so buyers don’t have to guess. Even when a property isn’t right for one client, it may be exactly right for someone else — especially in sought-after pockets of San Juan Capistrano.
